Mindbody pricing: what you actually pay

Mindbody's list price is not the number that lands on your card. Here is the full cost for a typical gym, including the parts that are not on the pricing page.

The list price

Mindbody starts at $129/month and runs to $449+/month. The sticker price is the smaller half of the bill — transaction fees, add-ons and per-location charges do the rest.

PlanMonthlyWhat's included
Starter$129Basic scheduling, one location
Accelerate$269Marketing tools, branded app
Ultimate$449Advanced reporting
Ultimate PlusCustomEnterprise features

These are fitness-business prices. Salon and spa pricing differs. Checked January 2026 — verify before quoting.

Payment processing

Mindbody charges roughly 2.75% + $0.25 per transaction. On membership revenue that compounds fast.

Monthly revenueProcessing fees
$10,000~$300/month
$25,000~$720/month
$50,000~$1,400/month

Add-ons

Add-onCost
Branded mobile app$200+/month
Marketing suite$100+/month
Additional locations$50–100/month each
Premium support$50+/month

Staff logins beyond the base plan allowance are also chargeable.

A realistic total

For a gym doing $25,000/month:

ItemMonthly
Accelerate plan$269
Payment processing (~2.75%)~$720
Branded app$200
Second location$75
Total~$1,264

That is roughly $15,000 a year, against a $129 headline.

What the market charges

Wodify$97/month
Glofox$110/month
Mindbody$129/month
PushPress$159/month

List prices as published January 2026, ours included. Every one is subject to the same add-on and processing arithmetic above, so compare the total, not the headline. Superaxe Core at $97 puts all 39 analytical threads in the entry tier rather than gating reporting behind an upgrade.

Is it worth it?

Mindbody is a reasonable choice if you want an established platform with a deep integration ecosystem, or if you are a large multi-location business whose needs match the enterprise tiers.

It is a poor fit if you are a single site paying for capability you do not use, or if the cost of the add-ons has quietly overtaken the value of the platform underneath them.

Switching costs

Most modern gym software supports a Mindbody import. You export members, contracts and payment records as CSV; the new system ingests them; the two run in parallel until you are ready to cut over. For a single location the mechanical work is typically a day or two, not a project.

Key takeaways

  • $129 is the floor, not the price

    Very few gyms pay it.

  • Processing adds $300–1,400/month

Scaling with your revenue, not your plan.

  • Add-ons inflate fast

Branded app, marketing, extra locations, extra seats.

  • Realistic total is $500–1,500/month

For most single and two-site gyms.

  • Compare totals

Every vendor's headline price hides a different set of extras.

Reporting that shows its working.

Superaxe reports what your records contain, shows the sample size behind it, and leaves the panel empty rather than printing a number it cannot support.
